ANSLEY FOREST APARTMENTS RENOVATIONS

TSW was retained to provide full architecture services for the renovation of the Ansley Forest Apartments. Original built in the 1970s, this 269 unit rental apartment community includes 20 different 3 to 4 level buildings with a mixture of flat units, garden units, and two level townhouse units. All unit interiors are being renovated to allow for more open floor plan layouts, additional bathrooms, new mechanical systems with updated exhaust for bathrooms, new plumbing fixtures, and new lighting and electrical outlets. The exterior of the buildings are being renovated to include new “eco” and low maintenance materials, additional balcony space, and new code compliant guardrails are being installed.

In addition, units subject to Fair Housing Civil Law and the Americans with Disability Act are being updated to comply with these guidelines. This project is currently in the construction document phase and prototype models are currently being installed to allow the client to review interior and exterior finish selection.
